Marxism Philosophy
The major of Marxism Philosophy had been granted the authority master
degree's conferral
in 1984 and doctor¡¯s degree¡¯s conferral
in 2005, and established a Postdoctoral center
in 2005
The
subject of Marxism Philosophy has developed into a academic
team with strong research resources, characteristic research
direction, rational research structure and fruitful research
outcomes. It is the basic direction of this subject to focus
on the basic theories, pay attention to realistic problems,
bond domestic and foreign thoughts, deepen the teaching and
research of Marxism philosophy through the reflection of
theories and practices.The subject now has 5 professors
(including 3 PhD directors), 4 Associate professors, 6 of the
staff with doctor degrees, 2 with master degrees. Currently it
has 3 sub-directions:
1,Research
of Fundamental Theories of Marxism Philosophy. Resent years,
under the lead of professor He Zhonghua, it has been committed on
redefinition of Marxism philosophy¡¯s essential, persisting
and developing Marxism philosophy based on ¡°Rereading
Marx¡±.
The emphasis is to research and summarize classic Marxism
philosophy authors¡¯ analytical methods on a philosophical
level and give possible explanations to original philosophy of
philosophies from the special Marxism philosophy point of
view.
2¡¢Historical
Materialism and theoretical research of social development.
Lead by professor Liu Lupeng(PhD Director) it has developed
research character and advantages, according to the principal
of Marxism historical methodology, based on practice of
modern social development, deepening and expending the
understanding to basic theories of historical materialism with
practices, pay especial attention to thinking the system and
development, focus on modernity, globalization and sustainable
development problem.
3, Research
of Political Philosophy. Lead by Professor Jiang Yong and
Professor Shang Yu, started from Marxism
philosophy position, view and methods, smoothing the basic
political philosophy subjects such as democracy, liberty and
justice systematically to enrich the understanding and
digestion of Marxism Philosophy. This is not only to meet the
need of deepen and expanding the field of Marxism Philosophy,
also is to answer the call from urgent need from practicing of
the socialist modernization driving. |
